Navarre founded Navexa in 2017 — as a solo developer, investor, and father who was frustrated with the state of portfolio tracking tools available to Australian investors. The existing options were either too expensive, too limited, or simply not built for Australian tax law.

Our team is a unique blend of technological and financial expertise. We all have backgrounds in the financial world — from senior development positions at large institutions to writing and consulting roles at some of the world's largest financial publishing businesses.
Navarre Trousselot
Founder & Developer
Navarre founded Navexa in 2017. He's personally written every line of code, and handles every single customer support interaction. He's a methodical value investor, dedicated technologist and the father of three bright young boys. He has a Computer Science degree and years of experience working as a software developer for some of Australia's biggest banks and insurance companies.
Thom Benny
Co-Founder & Copywriter
Thom joined Navarre on the Navexa project in 2019. He oversees our brand, marketing and communications activities — including our newsletter, The Benchmark. He's an investor and copywriter who has written and edited for major financial research and publishing firms. He has an MA and more than a decade of experience turning complex financial ideas into compelling stories.
Nick Freemantle
Senior Software Engineer
Nick is Navexa's Senior Software Engineer, responsible for building and maintaining key platform features. He brings deep technical expertise to the team, working across the full stack to ship the features Australian investors rely on.
James Tattersfield
Customer Success Specialist
James is part of the Navexa Customer Success team, helping investors get the most out of the platform. He works closely with customers to resolve issues, answer questions, and ensure every Navexa user has a great experience.
Tatsuki Thomas
Marketer
Tatsuki joined the Navexa team in 2024. A former engineering student and start-up rating analyst, he lends his marketing, finance and copywriting skills to our team across a broad range of work. Tatsuki's advanced financial literacy led him to manage his family's wealth by age 23, and found a macro-focused crypto investment newsletter from a Portuguese beach in 2021.
